It is your responsibility to return the trailer within the agreed hours. Any extended hire (with or without notification) will incur additional hire fees.
By booking and paying for trailer hire, either by phone, email or any other means, you agree to all the terms and conditions pertaining to this contract.
The hirer automatically accepts the inclusion of GPS tracking, including Apple AirTags or other similar devices, as a condition of hire. This measure is implemented to enhance trailer security and is an integral part of the rental agreement.
In the event you fail to pay any fees, damages, fines or any other cost associated with hire agreement, you authorize Dalby Trailers to deduct said amounts from the card details provided for excess damages. In the event of outstanding hire fees or other costs and where a JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, (statutory declaration) IS REQUIRED a $35 PROCESSING FEE WILL APPLY by hirer, the full amount can be deducted from your Debit/Credit VISA, MASTER CARDS. ALL OVERDUE costs that are not paid at the completion of the hire period, will have late a fee charged at 10% compounding interest charge applied daily until the debt is paid. In the event you do not pay the outstanding costs, we will instruct our Debt Collection Agency to recover all debts. Where trailer is written off or major irreparable damage you may be liable for Replacement value Between $3,500 & $25,000 dollars depending the circumstances, dishonesty, illegal actions to the value depends on type of trailer hired. You are liable for the full amount.
As the Hirer, you agree to take SOLE RESPONSIBILITY for any damage other than major structural failure. As the hirer you agree Dalby Trailer Hire will not be liable at any point for damages caused by oils, grease, tyres, broken or damaged components etc, that were not identified before hire. Further it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure, the trailer is hitch correctly to car and trailer and the components are correctly stored and secured before taking possession (eg) ramps, jockey wheel, cage, safety chains, etc. Any injury sustained by the hirer or other persons while using the trailer and it's components, Dalby Trailers will not be liable. By booking and paying for the hire trailer YOU understand and agree by operating the Equipment you take full responsibility for any damage or injury incurred. If you do not agree to these conditions, no hire can take place. It is a condition of hire you read and agree to all the conditions as per the Trailer Hire Terms and Conditions.
Dalby Trailers does not provide training on how to use the trailer for loading and unloading if you are not competent, you need to obtain training before operating any components on the trailer or loading or unloading the trailer. Dalby Trailers does not provide instruction or training in anyway, all conversations are in general nature only as it may not be suitable to your personal needs and requirements. Recovery of a trailer, if damaged, lost or stolen will be at the hirers expense to recover. Damage insurance does not cover recovery or towing costs. If you do not agree to these conditions, no hire can take place.
If fitted, WINCH COG & CABLE/ROPE MUST BE INSPECTED BY HIRER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION and/or OPERATION. Winch is not to be used to secure the load.
By making payment and completing a booking (by any means) you agree that you have read and understood these Trailer Hire Terms and Conditions.
